Privacy & Data Security

We only collect the necessary information needed to ensure session integrity. When learners demonstrate compliance with the session rules, the only personally identifiable information retained is one image of the learner, their name, and e-mail address.

Data that never leaves the learner’s device is far more secure than data that does. For this reason, Pyvot Verify utilizes the Integrity Advocate patent-pending application designed to execute facial detection, facial recognition, and optical character recognition processes right on the learner’s device.

Per OSHA standards we retain this record for 3 years. However, our Learning Management System retains the verified training record for 10 years.

Call 877-345-1253, email us, or use the chat on alliancesafetycouncil.org, if you are a contractor in your hiring companies account, we will transfer your training record. If you are unsure have your hiring companies Safety Council admin reach out to us.

Identity Authentication Questions (PERSONA)

You have options. You can choose to switch to another device for capturing or uploading your ID by using the QR code. You can also email yourself allowing you to upload a valid ID.

Reciprocity & Pre-Req Questions

SAF Basic is recognized as an equivalent to BOP. Your training history will be honored allowing you to take BOPR upon expiration.

Basic Orientation Plus Remotely Proctored acceptance requires communication from the owner site admin to their safety council stating the pre-requisite training accepted for the courses we administer on their behalf. Visit the Basic Orientation Plus BOP Refresher page to view accepting sites or contact Alliance Safety Council if you have any questions.

The training required varies per the site. Some sites require only Basic Orientation Plus while others accept both or accept only Safety Essentials. It is best that you check with your contractor administrator to verify site requirements.

  • The course codes change based on the way BOP is delivered and if you are taking the full course or the refresher.
  • If you are taking BOP or BOPR at or through Alliance Safety Council a the council designated code 12 will appear in the course code and on your training badge.
