TRAINING GRANT OPPORTUNITIES

State funds are available through Louisiana’s Incumbent Worker Training Program. 

Enhance your employees’ skills and strengthen your company’s future – all at no cost to you.

At Alliance Safety Council, we believe that developing the skills of your employees means a stronger workforce and business. As a Louisiana Workforce Commission-approved provider, we offer training options for both IWTP and SBET.

You can apply the funds you receive for training purposes to a variety of Alliance Safety Council courses.

Incumbent Worker Training Program (IWTP)

Employer Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be a Louisiana-based business with at least 15 employees to be trained
  • Operating for at least 3 years in Louisiana
  • Contributing to and in full compliance with state unemployment insurance tax laws

Small Business Employee Training (SBET) Program

Employer Eligibility Criteria
  • Must be a Louisiana-based business with 50 or fewer employees
  • Operating for at least 3 years in Louisiana
  • Contributing to and in full compliance with state unemployment insurance tax laws

SBET training costs cannot exceed $3,000 per trainee, per state fiscal year.
