Basic Orientation Plus® – Reimagined for Today’s Workforce
Industry’s most trusted awareness-level PSM training isn’t going away — it just got a whole lot better.
The Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC) has reimagined the Basic Orientation Plus® (BOP) program to meet the needs of today’s workforce while preserving the gold standard you’ve counted on for decades.
BOP has been reimagined — not replaced — to make safety training more effective and accessible for everyone.
BOP has set the standard for safely onboarding the industrial workforce for nearly 25 years. Now, ARSC has taken it a step further enhancing the program with a more interactive learning experience and flexible delivery options that align with the demands of your job sites and the realities of today’s workforce.
The reimagined BOP program gives you the flexibility to train the way that works best for you—without compromising quality. Each ARSC training center has a designated code making auditing more reliable. Alliance Safety Council’s designated code is “12”.
You don’t need to exclusively commit to one training provider to ensure compliance with safety standards. That’s the power of BOP— a program built on reciprocity and integrity, owned and audited by a neutral third party to ensure fairness across the board. If someone’s pushing exclusivity, ask why. And who really benefits.
Not sure which prerequisite safety program is right for you? Our recent blog post breaks it down.
For over 25 years, BOP has been the trusted, approved and recognized prerequisite at owner/operator facilities nationwide.
To take advantage of the new online BOP delivery method, owner facilities must actively opt in. The list of participating sites is growing. Subscribe to our email list and be the first to know when new sites opt in.
This course provides awareness-level safety training that ensures workers are prepared to work safely and efficiently across industries. A comprehensive topic list is below:
