Overview

The Air Liquide Mississippi River Pipeline Zone consists of seven facilities.

The facilities are the Norco ASU plant, Taft ASU plant, Plaquemine ASU plant, Addis ASU plant, Evergreen ASU plant, Shell Geismar Cogeneration plant, Vulcan hydrogen plant, Geismar ASU, and cogeneration plant.

Topics include:

  • Security
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Tools and Equipment
  • Emergency Equipment
  • Work Permits
  • Lockout/Zero Energy
  • Hazardous Chemicals
  • Emergency Response

The course also provides a brief overview of each of the 7 sites.

NOTE:In order to work at any Air Liquide MRPL site, you must successfully pass this course (12108AIR), the Basic Orientation Plus (or Refresher), and Air Liquide Large Industries Safe Work Permit and Pre-Job Planning course (19ALSWP). If you have not yet taken and passed 19ALSWP, please do so before attempting to enter any Air Liquide site. You will not be allowed entry into any Air Liquide site without these courses.

In addition, if you will be entering the Geismar site, you must also successfully pass Air Liquide MRPL GMP and Food Safety (12ALGMP).
