Esta clase cubre la identificación, evaluación, prevención y controles de los peligros de caídas en la industria de la construcción. Este curso se enfoca en caídas a niveles inferiores en vez de caídas a mismo nivel ocasionados por deslizones y tropiezos. Los temas cubiertos incluyen la identificación, el análisis y la prevención de las caídas utilizando los Estándares de Protección Contra Caídas de la OSHA. Al finalizar este curso los estudiantes tendrán un nivel de conocimiento básico en identificación de los peligros y los métodos de control para salvaguardar de los peligros.

This course covers the identification, evaluation, prevention and control of fall hazards in the construction industry. The course focuses on falls to a lower level rather than falls to the same level resulting from slips and falls. Course topics include identifying, analyzing, and preventing fall hazards utilizing OSHA Fall Protection Standards. At the conclusion of the course, students will have an awareness level of identifying fall hazards and methods to control and abate the hazards. This course is provided by the Mid-South OTI Education Center and will be delivered by a bi-lingual instructor. All course materials will also be provided in Spanish. Minimum Contact Hours: 5 hours
