Forklift training involves formal instruction, practical training (hands-on) and evaluation. This course meets the formal instruction portion of the training requirements for the forklift standard (1910.178). Practical (hands-on) training must be done on the same type forklift the trainee will be using.

The Safety Council has qualified individuals who can evaluate your forklift operators.
