The Safety Council presents PowerSafe Work Practices for Vegetation Workers.

Vegetation Safe Work Practices covers:

  • Vegetation-Related Safety Rules (including, Clearance tree trimming and PPE)
  • Chainsaw Safety
  • Minimum Approach Distances
  • Equipment Safety
  • Switching and Clearance Information
  • Grounding
  • Hotline Hold Orders
  • Catastrophic Event Restoration
PowerSafe Vegetation-Specific is also available in Spanish.

PRE-REQUISITES
A passing/not expired PowerSafe T&D Baseline or Baseline Refresher Training course is required before attending this class.

Two versions exists of the Baseline class:
PowerSafe T & D Baseline English (12TDBASE)
PowerSafe T & D Baseline Spanish (12PSBASP)

Two versions exists of the Baseline Refresher class:
PowerSafe T & D Baseline English (12PSREF)
PowerSafe T & D Baseline Spanish (12PSREFS)
