HAZWOPER 24-Hour First Responder Operations Training

Designed for operations-level responders, this three-day course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize hazards, assess risks, and respond appropriately to hazardous materials incidents.

Participants will learn to:

  • Recognize hazardous materials and associated hazards
  • Apply operations-level response procedures
  • Perform basic control, containment, and confinement operations
  • Select and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Safely operate Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBAs)
  • Perform basic decontamination procedures

HAZWOPER 40-Hour Hazardous Materials Technician Training

This comprehensive five-day course prepares hazardous materials technicians with the knowledge, hands-on experience, and specialized skills needed to respond to hazardous waste operations and emergency response incidents.

In addition to operations-level concepts, participants receive training in:
